Autonomous solar-panel assembly for lunar bases

Dual-arm robotic assembly of solar panels towards full autonomous lunar base construction (MSc thesis, SII 2025).

During my MSc thesis at Sapienza University of Rome and Tohoku University, I built a dual-arm solar-panel assembly pipeline aimed at full autonomous lunar base construction, combining compliant control for robotic assembly with perception systems for lunar applications. The work led to a peer-reviewed publication at IEEE/SICE SII 2025.
