I’m a robot learning researcher at Araya Inc. in Tokyo, Japan, working on Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models and imitation/reinforcement learning for robot manipulation.

Before joining Araya, I was a visiting research student at Tohoku University in Sendai, where I worked on compliant control and perception for robotic assembly in space applications. I hold an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from Sapienza University of Rome and a BSc in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, both cum laude.

My research interests sit at the intersection of learning-based and model-based robotics: VLA models, imitation and reinforcement learning, low-level control, and getting all of it to work reliably on real hardware.
